RP Aero Systems is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract by EVA Airways to manufacture and install a Boeing 787 Door Trainer at their Training Centre in Taiwan.

“The Door Trainer will include all the functions necessary to meet the modern day training needs together with features specific to the B787 aircraft" says RP Aero Systems Managing Director, Stephen Foster.

The Trainer will consist of a 1L main door with Attendant Seat. The 1L door will include RP’s advanced electronic door hinge and handle control system, deployable Girt Bar, airline specific customisations and a state of the art two-channel virtual slide. The equipment will be installed Q4 2017.
