RP Aero Systems is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract by Qantas to manufacture and install a Boeing 787 Door Trainer at their Training Centre in Sydney.  Read More

RP Aero Systems is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract by Air France to manufacture and install a Boeing 777 Door Trainer at their Training Centre, Paris CDG.

“The Door Trainer will include all the necessary functions to meet the modern day training needs together with features specific to the B777 aircraft" says RP Aero Systems Managing Director, Stephen Foster.

The Trainer will consist of a 1L main door with Attendant Seats. The 1L door will include RP’s advanced electronic door hinge and handle control system, deployable Girt Bar, extended platform, minor airline specific customisations and out of the window visual system.

The trainer will be installed Q3 2016.

RP are proud to have been selected for this programme, which continues the valued business relation between the two companies.

RP Aero Systems have recently commissioned a reconfigured Pattern Shop with the addition of a new Belotti 5-Axis machining centre to complement the two existing 3-axis machines.   Read More

RP Aero Systems is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract by SkyWest Airlines to manufacture and install two 1R Cross-check Door additions to the existing Embraer E175 Door Trainers at their Training Centres in Salt lake City, Utah and Denver Colorado, USA.

The additional door includes all the necessary functions to meet the modern day training needs with added capabilities for Cross-check Procedfure Training.

The equipment will be installed in April 2016

RP Aero Systems is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract by Thales UK to upgrade and reinstall an A330 1L Door Trainer.

The reworked Door Trainer will includes all the necessary functions to meet the modern day training needs with added value such as auto-close and out of the window visuals.

This equipment was originally built by RP in 2000 for British Midland and served continually until the acquisition of British Midland by BA. Following a short life at Cranebank, the fifteen year old trainer was decommissioned and returned to RP for upgrade. It will start a new life at the Thales UK Voyager Training Centre at Brize Norton.

The equipment will be installed Q2 2016
